Agius Group’s hospitality pillar is poised for dynamic expansion over the next four years, exemplifying an ambitious growth mindset that aims to solidify its footprint in Malta’s vibrant hospitality sector.
Agius Group’s hospitality pillar is primarily embodied by the Blue Clay Collection. The group started with Terrazzo in Xlendi, an epicurean sanctuary nestled in an enchanting sea inlet at the heart of Xlendi Bay. This culinary haven stands alongside other noteworthy establishments including Da Marco, Tonic Gastro Pub, and Mosaic Fusion Restaurant.
With an exciting array of new properties on the horizon, including luxurious havens and trendy lifestyle accommodations, the group is set to introduce over 300 new room keys and 1,500+ beds to its portfolio over the next few years, offering an enriching guest experience across the Maltese islands.
This expansion journey will see the unveiling of several new hotels, with a diverse range of offerings planned for 2025, including three in Gozo and one in Malta. This trend will continue into 2026 with an additional five accommodations and beyond, showcasing Agius Group’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of travellers.
The group’s strategic vision aligns with the burgeoning tourism landscape in Malta. Particularly noteworthy is the significant increase in tourism observed in 2023 compared to previous years. This upward trajectory underscores the fertile ground for Agius Group’s growth initiatives, as it continues to welcome new member hotels into its expanding portfolio and establish itself as a beacon of hospitality excellence in the Maltese archipelago.
